Ever helpful and often essential, here’s our pocket sized list of strategies for surviving the British winter;
1. Turn up the heating
2. Wear hiking socks
6. Dream of summer wardrobes
Naturally, we’re way ahead of the game from 1 – 5, so we’re all about summer wardrobes from now on in.
Imagine our delight then, when pics from the fantastic Nicce Spring Summer 2015 collection hit us right in the inbox, to kick off our sunshine dreaming.
East London based Nicce have been going since 2013, turning out bold and sassy street wear with a fresh take on Euro-casual. Label converts include Ella Eyre, Jessie Ware and Chvrches and with this seasons crips patterns and supa-bright palette we reckon loads more will be joining the Nicce gang.
Head designer Mitchel Galvin-Farnol is all about electronic music (EDM if you will) and the European club scene, feeding styles from each into the new lines. Us? Well we’re also getting top notes of Keith Haring, Roman Holiday, Haircut 100 and Sebastian.
Nicce’s very nice new line in slim cut shirts and matching shorts shows off laid back greys and navy alongside blasts of oranges, reds and vibrant summer prints. The fit is slim and cut, with crips fabrics and clean finishing. It’s all very pavement heat and unrestricted peds and there’s even a sleek lollipop raincoat for the inevitable downpours, with deep blue trim on the pockets and shoulders.
The full range is out in April, but if you can’t wait till then selected items are already on their website. Sweet.
Nicce were also kind enough to send us a few samples, so just in time for Friday Friday FRIDAY drinks, we owned the camera and nailed the fashions on a rainy office apres midi. #waytoomuchtea #whywearone
